Multiple iPhone, iPod Touch, Laptop router (3G Cellular) [Mobile Broadband Router]
The iPhone has its own 3G Cellular Internet, obviously, built in. But each iPhone requires its own 3G Internet Service Account with the monthly bill that goes along with it. Some persons may wish to get a less expensive iPod Touch which also has the same Touch Screen and Software Applications capability - *but* only has WiFi Internet Capability, not 3G Cellular Internet Capability. So what’s a body to do? What’s anybody to do?
The Ericsson W35 is a Mobile Broadband Router which means it “shares” the 3G Cellular Internet Connection with multiple “clients” which means users with devices like iPhone, iPod Touch, Laptops, other PDA such as Blackberry … pretty much anything that can do Internet network access via 802.11b or g which means WiFi.
So … The E W35 could be installed in a home and let the whole family get on 3G Cellular Internet from only one account. The E W35 could be installed in a small business office and let the whole office of portable devices (as mentioned above) to get on 3G Cellular Internet from only one account. The E W35 could be installed in a bus, truck, van, car, SUV, or other motor vehicle and allow everyone [if you give them WiFi Security Code!] in and around that vehicle to get on 3G Cellular Internet from only one account.
The Ericsson W35 Mobile (and Fixed Location) Broadband Router has built in WiFi 802.11 b and g capability - with the expected WEP and WPA/WPA2 Security included. So you can secure the wireless network around your W35 and only allow those users on that you want to. It also has a 4 port network hub (called a Fast Ethernet Switch / Hub) so that you can plug in wired CAT5 network devices as well. That also leads to its easy of expandability - whereby you can add additional wired network infrastructure to cover a larger area (say an office or warehouse) and you can add additional Wireless Access Points to cover more areas with wireless wifi signal - all providing the same 3G Cellular Internet to the users in those areas.
The Ericsson is a fine looking unit - having a sleek black case and High Tech Lighted Information Display (you’ve gotta see the front of this thing!)
The E W35 can also take external antennas for Marine and Automobile use as well as Temporary and Fixed Land Site installations.
The E W35 can also take USB storage devices (external Hard Drive or USB Memory Sticks) to share files with everybody on a Windows Network.
The power requirements are quite flexible as well. In a building you would probably use the included 110vAC power unit that comes with the E W35, but you can also power the unit on 10 - 28vDC - which opens up a bunch of mobile applications.
* This unit is manufactured by Ericsson - all trademarks and copyrights respected. Apple iPod Touch and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Computer - any trademarks and copyrights are respected as well.
* So this is how you can get multiple iPhone, iPod Touch, PDA, Laptop, and more onto a single 3G Cellular Internet for just about any situation or application.
* I have a sale going on right now on these units … so now is the time to buy. Normally $892.00 including shipping. For only a few more days: $745.00 shipped to U.S. locations. Don’t miss this! Price Dropped again. Now $625.00 shipped to US and Canada. 30 days installation support for do-it-yourself customers.
P.S. We do a lot of these in marine - so Sail and Motor Yachts give me a call!
